Enes Kanter has not stopped voicing his frustrations about a lack of playing time, but David Fizdale is not worried about it becoming a distraction.
“What are we gonna do, lose some more games?” Fizdale, the coach of the 10-36 Knicks, said with a chuckle Thursday. “I shouldn’t make light of that. Sometimes you gotta laugh.”
It was hardly a laughing matter for Kanter, though, a day after he said he was told he would start against the Rockets Wednesday, only to not play for the first time in his career because of a coach’s decision.
