Ex-Knicks head coach David Fizdale isn’t hung up on his breakup with New York.
While appearing on ESPN’s Golic and Wingo Wednesday to discuss his firing for the first time, Fizdale said that he has “no ill feelings” toward the organization. Fizdale, who was canned on Dec. 6 after less than 1 ½ seasons with the Knicks, said he knew it wasn’t personal.
“That’s the business we’ve chosen,” Fizdale, 45, said. “I respect those guys greatly. I miss the hell out of them. … I obviously learned a ton from it and I was just really grateful to have that opportunity to say I was the head coach of the Knicks.
