RJ Barrett’s sprained ankle has opened the door for Damyean Dotson and the Knicks guard is running through it.
Dotson continued his strong shooting off the bench and scored a season-high 21 points Friday night, though he didn’t get a shot in the final seven minutes as the Knicks lost to the Raptors 118-112 at the Garden.
The third-year pro shot 7-for-10 in 27 minutes, including 4-for-7 from 3-point range. It came after shooting 11-for-21, and 7-for-13 from 3, in his two previous games combined, while backing up for Reggie Bullock — who entered the starting lineup in Barrett’s absence.
