Former Knicks point guard Pablo Prigioni could be headed back to the Garden in an assistant coaching role. The Knicks are one of a few teams interested in the Argentine point guard after he worked as a coach supervising scrimmages at the NBA Draft Combine last week, according to Gigantes de Basket, a Spanish basketball site.
However, Prigioni, 40, also may be up for a head coaching job with the Spanish club Baskonia, which made the Euroleague quarterfinals this season before being knocked out by CSKA Moscow. Prigioni played three games for Baskonia this season in the Euroleague, but averaged just 8.
