The head coach at Murray State believes Broadway is the perfect stage to showcase Ja Morant’s point-guard “basketball genius,’’ and predicts he will be one of the NBA’s top shoe salesmen if he lands with the Knicks.
Morant, the creative sophomore being heralded in several mock drafts as the second pick after Zion Williamson, had his stock soar during the college basketball season.
The Knicks will find out during this upcoming Tuesday’s draft lottery if they have a shot at Morant, who is a virtual lock of not falling past No. 3. Duke’s RJ Barrett is the other consensus top-three pick.
