The New York Knicks played a decent first half Friday night against the Los Angeles Clippers. Wait, let me take that back...the Knicks didn’t play that well, but they did an exceptional job of hitting threes. But the Clippers are in the playoff hunt for a reason, and they chomped down on the Knicks like a pack of feral wolverines in the second half.
New York actually held a three-point lead at halftime, but the Clips erased that with a three on their first possession of the third. That, a Knicks turnover, and a fastbreak layup on the other end marked pretty much the end of competitive basketball on the evening.
