It feels like it has been awhile since the Knicks lost a close game, doesn’t it? Oh, they’ve been losing games, but pretty much all of those have been of the blowout variety. Well the ‘Bockers finally dropped a tight one to the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday afternoon, 124-113.
Don’t let the final score fool you. The Knicks actually took a lead midway through the fourth quarter, but a wide-open three and some vintage herky-jerky foul-drawing from Danilo Gallinari — which was easier to appreciate when he wasn’t playing against the Knicks — put the Clips up for good.
