NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Cleanthony Early is returning to the court more than two months after being shot in the leg.
The Knicks announced Monday that the forward has been assigned to the Westchester Knicks of the NBA Development League.
Early was shot after leaving a Queens strip club on Dec. 30. Moments after he left the CityScapes Gentleman’s Club in Maspeth, as many as three vehicles boxed in the Uber cab he was in and a group of masked, armed men jumped out and confronted Early, robbing him of his gold chains and gold caps on his teeth, police said.
