Cleanthony Early Expected to Recover in 2 to 3 Months from Shooting

New York Knicks‘ forward Cleanthony Early was robbed and shot outside a strip club early Wednesday morning, following a 108-96 Knicks victory over the Pistons Tuesday night.

Early was taken to Elmhurst Hospital in stable condition, and released later that day.

According to Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports, Early seems to be doing fine with all things considered. Nothing life-threatening.

After sustaining a gun-shot wound to his right knee early Wednesday in a targeted robbery, New York Knicks forward Cleanthony Early underwent MRI and X-ray exams that revealed no structural damage or surgery required, league sources told Yahoo Sports.
