The Anthony Davis drama is not quite done, yet.
The Celtics, according to The Sporting News, are frustrated with Davis’ agent, Rich Paul, because they believe his agency, Klutch Sports, is responsible for spreading the rumors of Kyrie Irving being interested in the Knicks this offseason.
Those talks, along with Kevin Durant’s alleged New York interest, began right after the Knicks traded Kristaps Porzingis to the Mavericks to open up room for two max contracts this offseason.
The Celtics were unable to trade for Davis at the deadline because of a rule that does not allow a team to have two players under rookie extensions on the same roster.
