True Knicks fans know there’s no such thing as rock bottom with this franchise — things can always get worse. Still, it’s pretty bad right now for the orange and blue. The Knicks executed like clowns down the stretch and fell victim to 7 clutch points from ex-Knick Damyean Dotson as the woefully undermanned Cleveland Cavaliers pulled out a 106-103 win.
Let’s start with the good stuff. Immanuel Quickley played for the oft-ineffective Elfrid Payton for much of the second half and dropped a career-high 23 points, 4 assists and 5 rebounds.
Julius Randle put up a Randl-ian stat line of 28 points, 6 assists and 6 rebounds, though he did miss a critical free throw near the end of the game.
