Carmelo talks ‘F— New York’ video, need for Knicks patience

MILWAUKEE – Knicks superstar Carmelo Anthony said Wednesday he was just “being honest’’ when asked about his profane Vice Sports video in which he states he sometimes wakes up and says “F—k this place’’ and “F—k New York’’

Anthony also said in the video, “There’s no patience here in New York…One day you’re the best thing since sliced bread, the next day you’re scum on the bottom of somebody’s shoe. This is the hardest place to have a bad anything.’’

With the season opener to begin Wednesday night vs. the Bucks, Anthony was asked at the morning shootaround at Bradley Center what his message would be to Spike Lee and Knicks fans.
