Carmelo Anthony said he won’t look for an exit strategy this season if the Knicks’ fortunes go south. Anthony said, contrary to popular belief, he is done with “second-guessing’’ his decision to re-up with Phil Jackson.
After Anthony re-signed a five-year deal in July 2014, he admitted he was willing to be patient with the Knicks’ progress — but only to a point. But Anthony in recent days has indicated he still is feeling patient despite Phil Jackson’s underwhelming free-agent haul and the selection of a potential project in 7-foot-3 Kristaps Porzingis with the fourth pick in the draft.
