OKLAHOMA CITY – Carmelo Anthony said the “chapter is closed’’ on his Knicks’ stint with Thursday’s 105-84 victory. However, there may be one more page – Dec. 16 when Anthony and the Thunder visit the Garden for the first time since the trade.
Always a lightning rod, the Garden reaction to Anthony’s return will be fascinating, especially after his tweet that being in New York was “hell.’’
Anthony isn’t worried. He thinks it will be all good on that Saturday night on Broadway amid Christmas season.
“It’s too far away to think about yet, but it will be a home game for me,’’ Anthony told The Post late Thursday as he left the Chesapeake Energy Arena.
