In a series of tweets Monday, New York Knicks star Carmelo Anthony seemingly dismissed the recent criticism levied against him by former teammate Amar'e Stoudemire.
Anthony didn't address Stoudemire by name, but he posted a few cryptic quotes that appeared to reference the situation:
Stoudemire and the Miami Heat earned a 98-81 win over the Knicks on Sunday, and the occasion allowed the six-time All-Star to reflect on his time in the Big Apple. In particular, Stoudemire discussed Jeremy Lin's rise and how it irked some Knicks players at the time, per Marc Berman of the New York Post:
If [Lin] stayed, it would've been cool.
