The saga continues. Carmelo Anthony‘s NBA future is still somewhat uncertain. But according to Alan Hahn of MSG Networks, he “left an impression” after working out with some current New York Knicks.
“Heard from some people at that Knicks run at Columbia today that Melo ‘played great’ and was ‘one of the best players on the floor,'” wrote Hahn. “Was clearly in great shape and looked strong. Left a great impression on those who played and watched. He can help a contender.”
It’s highly unlikely that the Knicks sign Anthony. With the current state of the roster, there’s no sense in signing Melo to take minutes away from the young players on the roster.
