ORLANDO, Fla. — Now it is point guard Billy Garrett’s chance to help try and save the 15-62 Knicks from posting the worst record in franchise history.
This was supposed to be time for point guard Kadeem Allen to solidify his chances of returning next season. Instead Allen bumped his head hard on the court on a drive to the basket Monday against Chicago, sustaining a concussion.
He’s now in the NBA’s concussion protocol, leaving his chances of returning for any of the final five games slim. Allen will have to pass a battery of NBA-mandated tests.
