Whenever David Fizdale is around the Miami Heat, it’s like fraternity brothers at a college reunion with all the back-slapping, high-fiving and hugging that takes place.
Such was the scene Sunday night at the Garden before the Knicks played the Heat for the second time this season. Whether it was coaching staff or the media that follow the Heat, Fizdale embraced the love and friendships built during his time as an assistant coach with the club.
“We shared some great memories in this place together, and we also shared some tough losses,” Fizdale said of his former colleagues.
