When Isiah Thomas was hired as president of the WNBA’s Liberty on Tuesday, Anucha Browne took the high road. But when the Garden put out a statement talking about the high-profile sexual harassment case she filed against MSG and Thomas, she fired back on Wednesday.
Browne — who won an $11.6 million jury award in 2007 — and issued a statement that called the Garden’s comments “an attempt to re-write history” that was “beyond what any truthful report could say.’’
The Garden’s statement proclaimed, “We did not believe the allegations then, and we don’t believe them now.
