There’s one thing about the Knicks’ front office that isn’t like many others. When they make a move, it isn’t premeditated by rumors.
Think about it.
Aside from Jalen Brunson, what major moves have they made that, when they happened, you went “yeah, I expected that.”
Did they have previously known interest in guys like Towns, Anunoby, and Bridges? Of course.
But, nobody saw the OG trade coming on December 30, 2023. Nobody saw Sean Marks agreeing to deal with Leon Rose in June. And nobody, and I mean nobody saw the Knicks and Wolves coming together for a late September trade that shocked the NBA and both fanbases.
