LAS VEGAS — Allonzo Trier doesn’t know why he didn’t get drafted following his junior year as Arizona’s shooting guard. He just knows how shocked he was, how many teams made mistakes and how he will get his first chance to prove it on the Knicks’ summer-league team, beginning Saturday against the Hawks.
“Yeah, it was absolutely shocking,’’ Trier said Wednesday after the Knicks’ second summer-league practice at Thomas & Mack Center. “I definitely believe I belong in this league and I can play and I’m as good as all these guys who were drafted. But that’s done and over with in the past.
