The New York Knicks came very close to knocking off the Houston Rockets and one of the hottest players in the NBA in James Harden on Wednesday night at Madison Square Garden.
One player that had a big game for the Knicks was rookie Allonzo Trier, who added 31 points and came up with some big baskets down the stretch. Unfortunately, he’s been blamed by some people for allowing Houston shooting guard Eric Gordon to hit the game-winning three-point shot.
One Knicks’ fan on Twitter called out Trier for allowing Gordon to hit the shot and the undrafted rookie fired back by sending him a direct message.
