As the GM of the Westchester Knicks, Allan Houston is in charge of all of the team’s players.
But he has paid special attention to the team’s newest acquisition.
Jimmer Fredette, the No. 2 pick in Saturday’s NBA D-League Draft (and No. 16 in this picture), has begun working with the former Knicks sharpshooter

as he attempts to familiarize himself with the triangle offense and potentially re-enter the NBA.
“It’s something special to be able to meet [Houston] and get to know him and kind of pick his brain a little bit of how to become a better basketball player,” the 6-foot-2 Fredette said Wednesday at the D-League team’s media day at the Knicks training facility in Tarrytown.
