The Knicks were one of three NBA teams to make an offer for Shved, who was acquired by New York from the Rockets in a trade last season for Pablo Prigioni.
Shved, a Russian guard, averaged 14.8 points, 4.6 rebounds and 3.6 assists in 16 appearances for the Knicks last season.
