For what feels like a decade now, these two divisional rivals have been linked in one way or another. They’ve been in some exciting and close games, they’ve been involved in a legal case, and have shared a plethora of players that include Jose Calderon, Andrea Bargnani, Quincy Acy, Landry Fields, Jarrett Jack, and Jeremy Lin. And just last season, that list grew even larger as the two teams made headlines with a big mid-season trade that saw the Raptors land RJ Barrett, and Immanuel Quickley for OG Anunoby, Precious Achiuwa, and Malachi Flynn. With so many familiar faces on both sides, it should make for some fun games but ultimately, with these two franchises being on very different timelines, the Knicks should have the upper hand in the 2024-25 season.
