According to Woj, the only thing that will stop the arrangement would be an unforeseen DeAndre Jordan signing.

The Knicks have considered making a trade for a big man, as they have the room to inherit big contracts even with Arron Afflalo's two-year, $16 million deal pending. Regardless, it appears New York has their man. Lopez averaged 9.6 points and 6.7 rebounds in 59 regular-season games for the Portland Trail Blazers in 2014-15 -- his second and final season in the Pacific Northwest.
