With the clock ticking down until the NBA Trade Deadline at 3:00 pm ET, it's time to review the biggest rumors surrounding the New York Knicks as they try to make a move to help them get back in the playoff race. Here's what you need to know:
Knicks making final push for Ricky Rubio
New York hasn't been shy about their desire to upgrade their point guard position, and their main target has been Minnesota's Ricky Rubio. They're working to get a deal done before the deadline, but the Timberwolves don't seem to like what the Knicks can offer, reports ESPNNewYork's Ian Begley.

New York has been willing to offer the combination of Jose Caleron and Kyle O'Quinn, but their lack of future draft picks have held up talks.
If not Rubio, then Martin?
Talks with Minnesota also were directed towards veteran shooting guard Kevin Martin, who would give the Knicks the outside shooting they want for a cheaper price than what the Wolves want for Rubio. However, that deal, too, is unlikely to happen, according to ESPN's Marc Stein.

Martin is averaging 11.3 points and 2.0 rebounds in 22.6 minutes per game off the bench this season.
