The New York Knicks made the first big splash of the offseason by trading for Derrick Rose and can still add another high-level free agent or two with the cap space they have. They're targeting some big names on the open market, specifically Kevin Durant, but are also looking to upgrade their bench. Here are all the latest Knicks rumors and news you need to know.
Will Knicks Get A Meeting With Durant?
Durant is setting up meetings with several teams around the NBA. Per Adrian Wojnarowski, Durant will schedule the bulk of his meetings in New York this weekend. However, it's not clear if the Knicks will secure a meeting.

The Knicks could still end up with a meeting, but not having one secured already doesn't bode well for their chances. It'd be a major surprise if Durant ended up in New York.
Knicks After Jamal Crawford?
The Knicks need bench help, especially at guard. They've already been linked to former Knick Jamal Crawford and now there's confirmation he'll talk to the Knicks.

Crawford played for the Knicks from 2004-08 and still has fond memories of New York. He's now 36, but can still play. He'll have plenty of interest, but could elect to return to New York.
Kent Bazemore A Target?
Much like with Crawford, the Knicks are searching for help at guard/wing. That's led them to Kent Bazemore, according to the New York Post.
Bazemore is high on the Knicks’ list for a shooting guard, but they know resources aren’t unlimited if they want to sign their own free agents to pacts that will allow them to go over the salary cap ... According to an NBA source, Bazemore is 'not ruling the Knicks out because he fills a need for them at the wing.' But the source isn’t sure if the Knicks will come into play. Bazemore’s intention is to stay in Atlanta. But if it doesn’t work out, Bazemore will have a bevy of suitors, including New Orleans and the Knicks.
Bazemore could become a bit pricey, as he's the 3-and-D player that is coveted around the NBA. He'd be a great fit in New York, but as the Post reports, it's unclear if they can afford him.
