NBA Free Agency is underway and although the New York Knicks are likely going to rebuild, they're still targeting a few notable free agents. Point guard is their main focus and they've reached out to a few veteran options . Here are all the latest Knicks rumors and news you need to know.
Knicks Looking At Rondo And Collison
The Knicks have already talked with George Hill, who is their top target. Derrick Rose is another option, but they've also explored other veteran options.
The Knicks have reached out to both Rajon Rondo and Darren Collison, per league sources.

Both Rondo and Collison would be cheaper options than Hill. Rondo was recently waived by the Bulls, while Collison will likely leave the Kings. Adding one of those two would allow the Knicks to not rush the development of first round pick Frank Ntilikina.
Other Point Guards The Knicks Are Looking At
In addition to Hill, Rondo and Collison, the Knicks are open to re-signing Rose at a cheaper rate. The Knicks are also interested in Michael Carter-Williams.
PG Michael Carter-Williams got a call from the Rockets last night, a source said. New York, OKC, Dallas, NO & Charlotte have interest, too.

Carter-Williams is a former NBA Rookie of the Year, but his play and production have dropped since then. Adding Carter-Williams could indicate the Knicks are willing to start Ntilikina earlier than expected.
