Carmelo Anthony is entering year two of a massive five-year, $124 million-plus deal with the New York Knicks, but Knicks great Walt Frazier isn't buying the notion that Melo will stick around for the remainder of that deal.

Walt Frazier wonders if Melo will ask for a trade. "They are a few years away and Melo knows that his days are numbered, so stay tuned."

Reports surfaced shortly after the Knicks' #4 overall selection of Latvian big man Kristaps Porzingis that Melo was extremely displeased with the long-term aim of the pick.
While things have blown over a bit in the public eye since late June, there are still rumblings out of Melo's camp that he remains unhappy with the Knicks president Phil Jackson's inability to land a complementary star in free agency and the possibility of yet another rough season at MSG while the team waits on guys like Jerian Grant and Porzingis to develop.
As the great Walt Frazier says, "stay tuned."
