The New York Knicks plans to address their needs in the backcourt with the No. 8 overall pick in the draft, and appear to have a few favorites at the top of their board.
New York is reportedly "enamored" with Frank Ntilikina and are very high on Malik Monk, but which one would they prefer? According to Bleacher Report, it's Ntilikina.
We've had Frank Ntilikina going to the New York Knicks for months, and with the draft just over a week away, the match still seems likely.
He's still building his case overseas, too, with Strasbourg IG now in the finals of the LNB Pro A playoffs. At 18 years old, Ntilikina has been starting and contributing, having just gone for 10 points, three assists and two steals to help his team advance.

On the downside for the Knicks, it seems unlikely he'll be available to come over for a workout. But New York has thoroughly scouted Ntilikina, particularly over the past month.
Between his versatility for the triangle and monster defensive upside, he comes off as an obvious fit for the guard-needy Knicks.
New York is also seriously considering Donovan Mitchell at No. 8, but it remains to be seen if Mitchell is above or below Monk and Ntilikina on their draft board.
A talented project, Ntilikina's biggest upside comes as a defender thanks to his quick feet and remarkable seven-foot wingspan.
Ntilikina, who was born is Belguim, has been playing professionally for Strasbourg since the 2014-15 season. He is averaging 5.2 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game this season while shooting 48.5 percent from the floor and 43.1 percent from three-point range.
