The New York Knicks were scheduled to attend a workout with former Missouri forward Michael Porter Jr. on Friday, but Porter has canceled the workout due to hip spasms, according to Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports.
Sources: NBA Draft lottery teams were informed Wednesday that Missouri’s Michael Porter Jr., a projected high-lottery draft pick, canceled second Pro Day workout Friday because of hip spasms and would undergo tests.

Porter was forced to miss virtually his entire freshman season due to a hip injury that required back surgery, and his health is the biggest concern surrounding him and his draft stock.
Charania also reports that Porter had an MRI on the injured hip today and the results were clean, likely easing any concerns teams had.
The 6-foot-10 small forward was in the conversation for the No. 1 pick before suffering the injury and was expected to be picked in the last half of the top 10, but is now receiving interest from teams in the top five.
New York is contemplating a trade up in the draft order to take him. Porter is projected to be picked No. 6 overall by the Orlando Magic in our latest mock draft.
