The New York Knicks have agreed to trade disgruntled center Willy Hernangomez to the Charlotte Hornets, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
Charlotte is acquiring New York's Willy Hernangomez for Johnny O'Bryant and two future second-round picks, league source tells ESPN.

Hernangomez requested a trade earlier this week due to frustrations over a lack of playing time.
He was a productive player as a rookie last year, averaging 8.2 points and 7.0 rebounds per game. However, he has largely fallen out of New York's rotation this season, averaging 4.3 points and 2.6 rebounds per game in only 9.0 minutes in 26 appearances.
This is the first of several moves the Knicks are expected to make before tomorrow's trade deadline after star Kristaps Porzingis suffered a torn ACL in New York's 103-89 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday night.

The Knicks are now expected to explore trading both point guard Jarrett Jack and center Kyle O'Quinn. O'Quinn has received interest from the Golden State Warriors, but it's unclear if talks between the two sides are still ongoing.
Jack is averaging 7.7 points and 6.1 assists per game, while O'Quinn is averaging 6.5 points and 5.6 rebounds per game.
They are also trying to part with Joakim Noah, but there hasn't been much interest in him on the open market.
