The New York Knicks made a steal for the draft # 24 when they got a wingman with the name of Tim Hardaway Jr. Yes, he is the son of the iconic point guard Tim Hardaway. When the Net picked Mason Plumlee to fill up the holes, Tim Hardaway Jr. will surely put on a larger impact for the run of his career.
The guy had an impressive junior year at Michigan with average stats of 2.4 apg, 4.7 rpg and 14.5 png. He is shooting 43% straight from the field and 37% from right behind the arc. Plumlee may have averaged more points but Hardaway Jr. definitely comes up with more ways to score as he is able to drive to the rim and good at shooting at mid range.
As he is stuck right behind JR Smith and Shumpert for the two guard spot, he needs to fight well each minute that he is set to play for the New York Knicks by next season. The key to his rookie season? Critics say he must make more outside shots and help expand the game through several drives for the buckets.
