Knicks Rumors Roundup: What You Need To Know For The 2015 NBA Draft

The New York Knicks hold the No. 4 pick in the NBA Draft, giving them a plethora of options. Here are a few other scenarios they’re considering in the days leading up to the draft:

New York Willing To Trade It's First-Round Pick

The New York Knicks didn't have as high of a draft pick as they would have liked, and president Phil Jackson previously said he'd be open to trading the pick if they fell out of the top two or three.

Via ESPN:

Phil Jackson has said he will likely keep the pick if it falls within the top four, but will consider dealing the pick if it falls to No. 5. Of course, Jackson could change his thinking between now and draft night. League sources with knowledge of the Knicks’ thinking said last month that the team would be very open to trading the pick if it falls outside the top two.

Knicks Targeting Trio Of Prospects

The Knicks are said to have eyes on the prospect trio of Karl-Anthony Towns, Jahlil Okafor, and Emmanuel Mudiay. Mudiay could be available for them with the No. 4 pick, but Towns and Okafor are expected to be the first two picks in the draft.

If Mudiay is drafted third by the Philadelphia 76ers, Ohio State point guard D'Angelo Russell or Duke small forward Justise Winslow are the next highest-rated prospects, but it doesn't appear that the front office and coaching staff are sold on those prospects yet.
