The New York Knicks are continuing to evaluate their roster to determine which players will be a part of their impending rebuilding process, and it appears that point guard Pablo Prigioni is not one of them.
According to Adam Zagoria of SNY.tv, the Knicks are looking to deal Prigioni for a second-round pick. The 37-year-old currently isn't playing, and given his age, isn't a part of the team's long-term plans.
Prigioni has been unseated in the rotation by rookie Langston Galloway, an undrafted rookie from St. Joseph's, who was called up from the D-League five games ago.
Prigioni is averaging 4.8 points and 2.5 assists in 19.1 minutes per game.
