Los Angeles Clippers center DeAndre Jordan will be one of the most sought-after free agents this offseason, and he's a prime target of New York Knicks.
Jordan put on a show at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday night, finishing with 14 points, 10 rebounds, and five blocks while leading the Clippers to a win. After the game, Jordan expressed interest in potentially joining the Knicks next season.
“I love New York City," he said. "I love the city. But right now I’m not thinking of free agency. I’m thinking about finishing our season off strong and focusing on the playoffs.’’
Jordan is making $11.4 million this season, and New York will have over $30 million in cap space to spend on free agents. He is one of the best defensive players in the NBA, averaging 11.2 points, 14.8 rebounds, and 2.3 blocks per game while shooting 71.3 percent from the field.
