New York Knicks forward Andrea Bargnani has received a lot of criticism surrounding his poor play since being traded to the Big Apple from the Toronto Raptors, and many assume he'll leave when he's a free agent this offseason.
However, his agent, Leon Rose, confirmed Tuesday that Bargnani would welcome a second chance with the Knicks.
“Andrea is optimistic about what [Knicks president] Phil [Jackson] is trying to accomplish and he certainly wants to be part of it,” Rose told the New York Daily News. “But he’s a free agent this summer so it’s too early to predict what may or may not happen.”
There had been rumors that Bargnani would consider returning to Europe to play overseas next season, and Jackson hasn't said whether he's interested in bringing Bargnani back.
