In Knicks news today, the head coach of the New York Knicks is giving the media and Knicks fans one person to blame when it comes to why the team missed the playoffs in 2013-14.
Per Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPNNewYork.com, Mike Woodson wants everybody to look to him in regard to the Knicks missing the playoffs in one of the weakest Eastern Conference fields in recent history:
Woodson apologizes to fans for NYK missing playoffs. Says you can point fingers in many directions but adds it's his responsibility as coach

There has been a load of speculation and rumors surrounding the future of Mike Woodson as New York Knicks head coach, especially with new president of basketball operations Phill Jackson now presiding over the team.
However, the season looked to go a lot worse than it actually did in the first half of the season, with the NY Knicks making a desperate run in the middle of the season just to get back into playoff contention.
Woodson, however, knows that in the business of the NBA, it's wins and championships which people remember -- and, at 34-45 with a team that was projected to battle for a first round home series in the East, it may not be long before the Knicks coach is looking for alternative employment.
