"Impact Basketball" in Las Vegas started a summer league consisting of upwards of 70 NBA players, taking the place of the Vegas Summer League. The Knicks players participating in Impact Basketball's league include: rookies Iman Shumpert and Josh Harrellson, starting point guard Chauncey "Mr. Big Shot" Billups, Shawne Williams (FA), Jared Jeffries (FA), and Roger "Money Mase" Mason Jr. (FA).
Knicks Union representative Roger Mason Jr. sent out an "accidental" tweet yesterday to teammate Amare Stoudemire that read, "Looking like a season, How U." The tweet wasn't out there for the public to see very long, as Mason deleted it almost immediately after pressing the send button. Amare Stoudemire then spoke about the NBA lockout publicly and echoed the optimistic attitude set forth by Mason, saying, "I'm hearing good things about upcoming labor negotiations."
