The Knicks news cycle has been going absolutely crazy the past week, with news that New York Knicks superstar Carmelo Anthony is leaning toward testing free agency - along with rumors that the Miami Heat are going to do whatever it takes to be frontrunners for his services if he decides to do so.
With Twitter exploding over the ramifications of South Beach's Big Three turning into the Big Four, controversial Knicks shooting guard/small forward JR Smith decided to drop in his two cents on the Melo-to-the-Heat controversy:
@B_Eds517 nope

Smith and Anthony have been joined at the hip for a good chunk of their NBA careers, with the pair spending parts of five-and-a-half seasons together in Denver. Melo was also instrumental in helping JR Smith make the transition from playing overseas in China to his current role in the Big Apple. Regardless of his vow of silence if Melo decides to head to Miami, Smith does want Anthony to make the decision best for himself and his family.
My opinion is let him do him RT @binmatar_7: @TheRealJRSmith @MMmvp56 hes your friend we want 2 know about your opinion

This was followed by perhaps the world's longest hashtag message to Melo.
