The New York Knicks have been quiet so far in NBA Free Agency. The Knicks are rebuilding, which has taken them out of the running for many of the big name and expensive free agents. However, the Knicks can and probably will make a move or two.
There are more than just four players the Knicks could sign, but we've narrowed it down. That also excludes re-signing players (like Derrick Rose). Here are four players the Knicks could still add in free agency.
George Hill
At the start of free agency, it appeared Hill was actually the Knicks' top target. That appears less likely now, with the Knicks look at cheaper options (see one below). The Lakers are also in talks with Hill. But if those talks fall apart and Hill's price drops, perhaps a one-year deal for Hill and the Knicks could be struck.
Shelvin Mack
Hill seems less and less likely, while Mack is drawing interest from the Knicks. Two different reports state there's mutual interest between Mack and the Knicks. Mack would provide the Knicks with a veteran option to help start while Frank Ntilikina develops. Mack would also be a much cheaper option that Hill or even Derrick Rose. He put up 7.8 points per game in a lesser role for the Jazz this year. New York also spoke with Rajon Rondo and Darren Collison.

Dion Waiters
The Knicks have spoken with Waiters, who could be a replacement for Courtney Lee if they trade him. He'd provide a scoring boost from the wing, something New York will need this year, especially if they dump Carmelo Anthony. Waiters is still just 25 years old, which fits better with a rebuilding Knicks team. Still, New York might not want to commit the salary Waiters is looking for after putting up nearly 16 points per game last year.
Alan Williams
The Suns have already offered Williams a four-year deal worth 5-6 million per year, but the Knicks were weighing an offer sheet at the start of free agency. The Knicks reportedly view Williams as a "diamond in the rough," but also fear the Suns will match any offer they make. Williams put up 7.5 points and 6.2 rebounds in 15 minutes per game last year. He could be a replacement for Kyle O'Quinn if the Knicks find a taker in a trade or salary dump.
