The New York Jets entered Week 4 of the NFL season in desperate need of what many pundits thought was an improbable victory against the Tennessee Titans.
Early in the game, it seemed like we were watching a repeat of the first three weeks of the season. The offense was struggling on the ground, Zach Wilson couldn’t get much going through the air, and wide receivers were falling during routes.
The defense was not “breaking,” but it was severely bending. Situational football lacked in the early going, as Jeff Ulbrich’s unit allowed a third-and-21 conversion on a screen pass.
