X-rays negative on Muhammad Wilkerson's ribs

FLORHAM PARK, N.J. - X-rays of Muhammad Wilkerson's sore ribs came back negative, according to a source. That's good news for the Jets (3-1), who are hoping to keep the momentum going after their Week 5 bye.

Wilkerson, who was limited in Monday's practice, suffered the injury during the Jets' 27-14 win over the Dolphins at Wembley Stadium on Oct. 4, but coach Todd Bowles said he didn't hear about it until Monday, eight days later. Bowles said he doesn't believe Wilkerson's rib injury is serious but that X-rays were taken as a precaution.

David Harris (quadriceps), Willie Colon (knee), Chris Owusu (knee), Bilal Powell (groin) and Jaiquawn Jarrett (knee) did not practice.
