The Jets began paring down their roster on Sunday, cutting 12 players.
The biggest names were wide receivers T.J. Graham, Saalim Hakim and DeVier Posey. Graham played in 12 games for the Jets last year, catching one touchdown. Hakim played in 19 games over the last two years for the Jets, primarily on special teams. The Jets acquired Posey as part of a draft-day trade from the Texans.
The other players cut were: WRs Austin Hill and Jonathon Rumph, TE Matt LaCosse, OL James Brewer and Dalton Freeman, LB Bryan Johnson and DBs Javier Arenas, Curtis Brown and Keith Lewis.
