At this point, just being part of the Jets’ 2014 draft class is enough for derision.
In their year-plus in the league, the so-called “Idzik 12” have undeniably flopped via a mixture of underperformance, season-ending injuries and roster cuts.
Seven of the 12 players drafted by then-GM John Idzik last year remain on the Jets, though that includes former second-round tight end Jace Amaro who was placed on season-ending IR earlier this week. For some of those left with Gang Green, Thursday’s game against the Eagles could represent their last chance to make a push for the roster.
