WR Quinton Patton Inks Deal with Jets

After hosting wideout Quinton Patton on a free agency visit Saturday, the Jets agreed to contract terms with the veteran and he has signed his new contract.

Patton, a fourth-round pick of the 49ers in 2013, spent his first four professional seasons in San Francisco. Last season, he set career highs with 37 receptions and 408 yards receiving.

After combining for only six receptions his first two seasons, the 6'0", 204-pounder totaled 67 catches in 2015-16. For his career, Patton has amassed 73 receptions for 880 yards with 13 catches covering 20 yards.

Jets offensive coordinator John Morton served as Patton's first WR coach in 'Frisco from 2013-14.
