FLORHAM PARK -- Jets defensive end Muhammad Wilkerson is healthy and will play in Sunday's home-opener against the Dolphins.
Wilkerson missed practice Wednesday and Thursday with a shoulder injury. He was limited on Friday. Wilkerson is expected to start on defense. Jets coach Todd Bowles said Wilkerson did not get an MRI on his shoulder this week, and there isn't a plan for him to.
Wilkerson injured himself at some point in last week's loss to the Raiders.
There weren't many surprises among the other inactives. Quarterback Christian Hackenberg, receiver Chad Hansen, cornerback Derrick Jones, safety Rontez Miles (eye), guard Brian Winters (abdomen) and tight ends Eric Tomlinson (elbw) and Jordan Leggett (knee) won't play.
