Why this Jets’ 3-3 record could be different

Let me take a moment to interrupt all the good feelings and optimism around the Jets to remind everyone the Jets are exactly at the same spot as they were a year ago after six games — 3-3.
The 2017 team won exactly two games after that start, blowing leads during the middle of the season and struggling to find offense late in the year.

Can the 2018 season be different? We are about to find out. The reason to believe it can is these Jets feel like a more talented, seasoned bunch than last year’s team. Jamal Adams and Darron Lee have made huge strides on defense, leading an opportunistic bunch that gives up a lot of yards but has made timely stops and takeaways.
