INDIANAPOLIS — Jets coach Todd Bowles does not feel like his team has a character problem even after three of his players have been arrested in the past three months.
“You hit some bumps in the road,” Bowles said Wednesday at the NFL Scouting Combine. “It’s not going to be squeaky clean. You deal with them as they come. They’re both individual cases on an individual basis.”
The Jets are dealing with plenty of legal issues at the moment. Linebacker Dylan Donahue was the latest to get arrested when he caused an accident by driving the wrong way in the Lincoln Tunnel early Monday morning while allegedly intoxicated.
